This is Gohan, the great Saiyaman! This should´ve been a pic in a series of pin up inspired pics of the male leads in DB. I fucked up the fold of his tunic (now it looks as if he partly turns to the side which he doesn´t =.=) so I gotta do a new Gohan.

If there is one thing I’ve learned, transitioning from fandom to fandom, is that slut-shaming exists everywhere. Think about the female characters you really just hate and so easily brand as a ‘slut’. You probably think it’s nothing at all, but really? Labeling a character as a ‘slut’ because she either:

1. is a spouse of your favorite character?
2. is a flirt?
3 has many partners?
4. essentially friendzones people?
5. is a best friend to two characters?
6. has a pretty fabulous (if not questionable) sense of dress that could put Lady GaGa to shame?
7. has that one shot of her panties in an episode?
8. acts ‘tsundere’ in front of the male lead?
9. aggressively stalks the male lead because oh god she really loves him and needs to be with him 24/7?
10. is badass and can kick the ass of any male given a choice and is a real snark about it?
11. SIMPLY JUST EXISTED?

The fuck is wrong with you people?

And how much it horrifies me that most of the people who’s ready to label female characters as sluts are actually - and I emphasize - NORMAL WOMEN LIKE ME. People who call themselves true fans but then start bashing Bulma because oh my god she’s a slut or shaming Xion because she’s a fucking cockblock to AkuRoku.

This is really misogynistic and really fucking stupid. Society itself is already harsh enough to women - and how ironic that it would mirror itself in that one thing everyone claims as ‘their escape from reality’ when really it’s not that different anyway.

C’mon, fandoms, I’m pretty sure behind every screen name is a perfectly mature adult who can differentiate between what’s good or bad.

Zuerst wollte ich ihn auf eine riesige Leinwand mit Pastellkreide malen. Aber wie Pastellkreide nun mal ist, setzt sie sich überall fest, außer an den Stellen, an die sie eigentlich hin muss!
Aus Goku wurde ein schwarzer Fleck und aus dem schwarzen Fleck eine Vulkanlandschaft. Weil ich einfach stinksauer war, das absolut NICHTS funktioniert hat! Daher trägt das Bild den Titel “Expressionismus”, obwohl Goku ja eigentlich sehr gelassen aussieht…

Die Qualität der Lines ist leider äußerst schlecht :-/
Das liegt daran, dass ich sie mit Kugelschreiber ziehen musste, noch dazu mit einem schlechten! Short version of the above in English:

The artist did a request and wanted to draw a pic in pastel, but she smeared it all over herself and on the paper, so that in the end she had a big mush of colour instead of some Goku Fanart, so in the end she did THIS drawing, in which Goku has the same fate as she had!

Unfortunately, the artist comment did not reveal what Veggie is doing in the background and it is Chichi for sure that Goku is holding there. So I guess that is up to our imagination!
